San Pedro.Port Safety: The Los Angeles Port Police The Los Angeles Port Police is a specialized law enforcement agency at the Port of Los Angeles, under the control of the Los Angeles Harbor Department (WorldPort LA). Department is installing radio communication enhancement equipment at the port to allow for unified and timely response to emergencies. The equipment, provided by Motorola C & E Inc., will cost $375,000 and will augment aug·ment v. aug·ment·ed, aug·ment·ing, aug·ments v.tr. 1.
