San Bernardino County Selects IWS' Mobile Emergency Response System.

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. -- Integrated Warehousing Solutions, LLC, a leading provider of supply chain execution solutions, announced today that the County of San Bernardino, California Department of Health has selected the IRMS Mobile Emergency Response System ("Go-Kit") to manage Receipt, Store and Ship (RSS) operations and distribute a Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Push-Pack to a Point of Disbursement (POD) network.

The IRMS SNS-RSS "Go-Kit" is the only commercially available mobile solution that has been successfully implemented and field tested to manage the receipt and distribution of the CDC Push-Pack.

The COTS solution will provide the County with a self-contained, mobile, and stand-alone solution with components that are rugged and field ready. The application's Decision Support System (DSS) has been designed to handle the unique requirements of RSS command structure. Pre-loaded with event-specific information, as well as population and item information, IRMS SNS-RSS has been designed to quickly and accurately process information provided by the CDC regarding the contents of the Push-Pack. Once the event type has been set, the system will automatically isolate appropriate materials, apportion the amount of material to be reserved and distributed to each POD so that the civilian population can begin receiving assistance quickly.

In field, the IRMS "Go-Kit" maintains complete control of supplies, with options to record critical medical information such as lot control and patient level information.

The "Go-Kit" supports a scaleable framework for easy expansion to IWS' robust warehouse management system for detailed level POD and upstream warehousing functions that can support existing day-to-day operations, including maintaining inventories by funding source, program and more.
