21st century science has brought success in curing certain forms of cancer and has made great progress in providing scientific-based drug therapies that treat many forms of cancer. Specific examples of breakthroughs will be given and a progress report on research projects around the world, including one that has helped cure 50,000 people.

NOTE: The press conference is officially over at 5:30, but editors are invited to remain for the SWCRF Annual Review which follows. The Scientific Advisory Committee will present their progress report to supporters. There will be opportunities for one-on-one and small group discussions with scientists from around the world.
