Samsung announces Auto Attendant Uniform Call Distribution card for Prostar DCS key telephone system.

The AA/UCD card is one of the first cards of its kind to be fully integrated into a key telephone system and offers eight ports of Auto Attendant The part of an interactive voice response (IVR) system that replaces the human operator and directs callers to the appropriate extensions or voice mailboxes. Features of the AA/UCD card include:


o   UCD Agent Statistics -- provides accountability of all calls made.
    Gives reports on the average time it took to answer a call and the
    average duration of each call.
o   UCD Call Statistics -- provides statistics on the number of calls
    received into the system and the average holding time of each call.
o   UCD Intelligent Queuing -- insures call position is never lost in
    the queue.
o   Auto Attendant/Multiple Menu Support -- provides multiple level
    call routing.
o   Auto Attendant/Prerecorded and Customized Prompts -- allows for
    the customization of voice recordings for the DCS system.-0-


With the AA/UCD card the DCS system can simultaneously answer multiple incoming calls and routes them to any extension in the system. And because the voice prompts are customizable, different greetings for different callers can be used at the same time.

The Uniform Call Distribution feature of the AA/UCD card gives the system the functionality to direct all incoming calls to the first available agent of representative. Perfect for service organizations, the UCD feature plays custom-recorded announcements for all the callers while they are on hold.

In addition, call reporting capabilities are available as on-screen on·screen or on-screen
