Samsung Heralds the Video Communication Age; Samsung Electronics In London to Showcase World-Leading Product Portfolio.


LONDON -- In the surroundings of the world famous British Museum British Museum, the national repository in London for treasures in science and art. At the Global Roadshow 2004, attendees saw the breadth of Samsung's digital offering and reviewed the company's latest mobile handsets, digital TVs, home entertainment systems and other examples of design-led, technologically innovative products. Samsung's path towards the Video Communication Age centres around five key fields - Capture, Display, Store, Process and Connection. Specifically:

Capture: Samsung's latest mobile phones, which were introduced for the first time at the Global Roadshow 2004 and Samsung's DuoCam, a 5.25 megapixel camera-camcorder combo;

Display: The world's largest PDP (1) (Plasma Display Panel) See plasma display.

 and LCD TVs, combining brilliant, high-definition images with light, ultra-thin design;
