Aurora Systems' ASI500 advanced features include enhanced scaling engines, picture-in-picture mode, vertical and horizontal image flipping, dual video input ports, Keystone correction, integrated full screen On Screen Display (OSD) controller, and motion adaptive video and imaging de-interlacing engines with color enhancements including sharpness, gamma and color space conversion Changing one type of color-encoded signal into another. Converting from RGB to YUV and back to RGB are common color space conversions when working with video formats (see YUV). Converting from the display color space (RGB) to the printer color space (CMYK) is another common example. . With ASI500's highly integrated architecture, high-end television system functions such as picture-in-picture (PIP), picture-over-picture (POP), and picture-in-graphic (PIG) are easily implemented, greatly reducing the over all system cost and reducing system integration issues.
