Salvation Army Responds with Emergency Supports for Those Impacted by the Campbelltown Tornado.

Lebanon County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania and is one of four counties comprising the greater Harrisburg metropolitan area.
, The Salvation Army has been at the heart of the disaster area to provide practical support in the form of food, shelter and cleaning supplies.

As soon as word was received of the tornado, The Salvation Army deployed two emergency response canteens from Harrisburg and Lebanon to assess the situation and provide immediate assistance. A command center was established at The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center in Harrisburg, which has been cooking and preparing meals in their kitchen for on-site delivery. As many as 300 people are being served meals at the site of the disaster for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals will continue to be provided as long as necessary. Overnight shelter is also being provided at the command center as needed as needed prn. See prn order.  for displaced residents.

The Lebanon Home Depot store has generously provided volunteer support and a tractor trailer full of brooms, rakes, shovels and other cleaning supplies and is working alongside The Salvation Army on site for the arduous clean-up work that needs to take place.
