Salesforce.com Unveils On-Demand Marketplace With More Than 60 Sforce-Based Solutions.

Announced at Dreamforce 2004, salesforce.com's second annual user and developer conference, the On-Demand Marketplace provides online access to a comprehensive catalog of on-demand solutions built by more than 60 product and service vendors. Marketplace highlights include:

--An interactive ratings systems, with built-in user reviews that help customers locate the on-demand solution that best suits their needs;

--Featured Solutions, which showcase screenshots of select on-demand solutions;

--Sforce Certified designation, indicating that the solution has passed a series of rigorous certification tests in the sforce labs, and is live with at least three customer references; and

--A wide range of solution categories to address business requirements including data warehousing, contact center, email marketing, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) An integrated information system that serves all departments within an enterprise. Evolving out of the manufacturing industry, ERP implies the use of packaged software rather than proprietary software written by or for one customer. , integration, social networking and more.
