Dennis Peavler has joined Liquid Carbonic International as director of marketing. He is joined in promotion by William Bryce, who advanced to vice president, sales and marketing of bulk gases, and Marvin Shipps, who joined the company as regional manager, East Coast.

Robert H. Messerly has been given additional responsibilities at Wean Industries for sales, estimating and proposal activities, in addition to his appointment to vice president, sales and technology. Richard K. Lordo has become director of projects and engineering; Charles E. Coffey, director of manufacturing, has been given responsibility for manufacturing engineering and subcontract sales; and Edward J. Rieke has been put in charge of spare parts sales for the company.

Rae R. Burton has been elected vice president of chlor-alkali and derivatives for PPG Industries' Chemicals Group.

Bob Oust accepted a promotion to director of sales development and marketing at Dow Corning STI. He is joined in promotion by Roger Jesse, who has become sales development programs manager, east region, Bob Cornelius, Midwest region and Russ Tanton, west region.

Ken Staudinger has been promoted to marketing manager, Tire Industry, and Earl Pearson has been hired as district sales manager at NationalStandard.

Maxi-Blast named Frank W. Kuhlman marketing coordinator. G. Barry Slater advanced to sales manager of the Bulk Systems Division at Vac-U-Max.

George Andros has been elevated to regional product marketing manager at Richardson Electronics.

Cheryl L. Schnuth has been promoted to product manager and Edward P. Cercek has been named product manager for passenger and light truck tires at General Tire.

Sarah Beth Emberger has been promoted to marketing manager for specialty tires at Goodyear.

Jack W. Glover and Frank E. Shields have been named sales representatives for Cri-Tech.

Stuart J. Kapp has been promoted to technical sales representative at C.W. Brabender.

Chuck Marchand advanced to senior sales engineer for Davis-Standard's tire and elastomer business.
