Sales sizzling at The Seville. (Residential).

Sales are off to a "sizzling" start at The Seville, a new ultra-luxurious Upper East Side condominium apartment building designed by legendary architect Robert A.M. Stern. Just a few months after the beginning of condominium's sales campaign, the developers, a partnership of Trevor Davis of Davis and Partners and Aby Rosen and Michael Fuchs of RFR Holding LLC, announced that they have reached the $40 million sales mark.

Located at 300 East 77th St., on the southeast corner of Second Avenue, The Seville is a 32-story, 90-residence tower that serves as the sequel to the same developer's successful Empire condominium at 188 East 78th St., which sold out last year.

"We are experiencing a tremendous response from both homebuyers and the brokerage community," said Davis. "The plan is being declared effective and we will be able to offer immediate occupancy, something which is rare for a new construction building in today's market." He also noted that all amenity areas have been completed, including the building's luxurious indoor pool.

The majority of residences at The Seville will be two-bedroom homes, with the remaining mix comprised of one- and three-bedroom residences. The Seville also offers three full-floor penthouse homes, available unfinished for individuals who wish to customize their dream home.

"Two furnished models -- a three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath and a two bedroom, two-and-a-half bath, both with windowed eat-in kitchens and corner windowed living and dining rooms -- will be completed and available for viewing in early June," added Jackie Urgo of The Marketing Directors, the building's exclusive sales and marketing agent. The models will allow potential purchasers to better imagine the lifestyle available to them at the residence inspired by the Spanish city which bears its name.

The Seville also draws inspiration from New York's romantic towers of the 1920's and 1930's. Such influence is evident in the building's light-colored brick facade and black columnar brick accents and the array of chic European services and outstanding lifestyle amenities offered to its residents.

The building's classically designed lobby is finished with striking appointments, rich Douglas Fir wood paneling, Stucco Veneziano walls and exquisite terrazzo floors and limestone borders. Prices at The Seville, which is approaching 30% sold, start at $985,000 for one-bedrooms, $1.130 million for 2-bedrooms and $2.385 million for three-bedroom residences. The homes range in size from 1,067 to 5,584 SF and are the newest luxury offering in the heart of Manhattan's most desirable neighborhood on the Upper East Side.
