Sal Cimbolo Named Dataproducts BTA Channel Development Director.

SIMI VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 1998--Sal Cimbolo has been named Director of Channel Development for Dataproducts Corp./Group Hitachi Koki, it was announced Monday by Michael T. Stramaglio, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Dataproducts' Imaging Systems and Solutions Division.

Dataproducts is a subsidiary of Group Hitachi Koki which manufactures and markets Digital Document Server (DDS) printer/copiers, digital and laser printers, printer engines and consumables for distribution channels throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Australia and Asia.

Cimbolo brings to Dataproducts almost 30 years of experience in the office equipment industry. Having owned his own Los Angeles-based copier dealership, Cimbolo has also held senior management positions at SCM, Compucorp, Saxon and Ricoh, along with being Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Monroe Systems for Business' North American Copier and Calculator divisions.
