Sage Communications announces opening of international office and appointment of Bill Gillis to board of directors.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 27, 1995--Sage Communications Corp. of Scottsdale Tuesday announced the official opening of their first international office.

Effective today, SageComm International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sage Communications, has opened in Leatherhead, England to service the European telecommunications marketplace with Sage's data warehousing/decision support consulting expertise. Managing the European subsidiary is John Puhl, former AVP at AT&T GIS for European operations.

Sage also announced that Gillis has joined their board of directors effective immediately. Gillis brings with him over 20 years experience in guiding entrepreneurial companies towards success. Prior to starting his own consulting firm this year, Gillis was chairman and president of INFO Enterprises, a wholly owned Motorola information services subsidiary.

Gillis has held previous executive positions at US West, InfoLink, Charles Schwab, Mattel Electronics, Western Electric and RCA. He serves on the board of directors of the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He also sits on the board at ConQuest Software, a provider of natural language search engines for on-line services.
