, key personnel changes continue. OSHA's top regulatory official, Marthe Kent, has left the agency for an assignment with the National Safety Council. Kent, a controversial figure during her tenure, led the agency's efforts in the development of the controversial ergonomics regulation that was defeated earlier this year. Steven Witt, the agency's current director for technical support, will replace Kent as director of health standards programs.
