SafeTek International (OTC BB:SFII) Chief Executive Officer Sam Dobner today issued the following vision statement for the Company's focus and objectives going forward.

SafeTek's objective is to provide state-of-the-art equipment to meet the immediate and burgeoning market in Data and Video with initial emphasis on provisioning "last mile" broadband connectivity to the SME (small & medium enterprise) and home markets via fixed broadband wireless (FBW) solutions.

Fixed Broadband Wireless subscriber revenues are projected to grow to over $12 billion by 2006 in North America alone, according to a 2001 Insight Research Corporation study. The primary drivers for growth are two-fold: the ubiquitous and insatiable demand for Internet bandwidth and the need by thousands of successful independent ISP's (Internet Service Providers) to bypass the ILEC's and Cable companies' "last mile" exclusive access to the SME and home premises. We believe these ISP's prefer an option that offers faster bandwidth at a lower cost, greater flexibility, the elimination of the ILEC's costly toll charges and more control over the responsiveness and quality of installations. Fixed Broadband Wireless - done right - ultimately offers the countless number of Internet users a cost effective, reliable and rapid solution.

Globally, we believe the needs are even greater. Most of the rapidly developing countries in Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe have no reliable infrastructure in place at all to support "last mile" broadband Internet access. FBW may be the only viable answer in these markets.

SafeTek plans to participate in the growing FBW market by developing, manufacturing, and marketing "smartly integrated" base station and CPE (customer premise equipment) products that offer high configurability, embedded upgradability, low cost of ownership, and ease of installation (including self-installation).

SafeTek`s plans to enter this market by "smart venturing" with companies that already offer "smart technology", a compelling product line, and most important - proven revenue, and a platform for cranking out products to meet the unique needs of the global markets.

SafeTek's recent "smart venture" with EvoTech is the first clear example of SafeTek's execution of this vision. EvoTech is just completing development of their "smartly integrated" WMAS (Wireless Multi-Access System) base stations, offering their customers phenomenal flexibility, scalable architecture - and low cost. SafeTek is currently reviewing partnership opportunities with regard to additional fixed broadband wireless products.
