SafeCentral 2.0 introduced by Authentium.
Authentium, a developer of software and services to protect consumers in a connected world, launched on Wednesday (8 April) SafeCentral 2.0, a major upgrade of its secure browser.
According to the company, SafeCentral 2.0 uses Authentium's 'reverse sandboxing' technology to protect login information, passwords and financial info that consumers enter into their computers, even if the computers are infected with malicious software. This approach ensures the integrity of on-line transactions, such as shopping, banking and trading, as well as desktop data processing, even when protection from other security tools fails. The solution can be customised, so that banks, trading companies and other partners can market it as part of their branded security offerings to customers.
The new release offers the following features: protection against cybercrime on any website; easy-to-use secure desktop; SafeCentral Deskbar; SafeCentral Protection Indicators and Reminders; high-performance security engine, which delivers anti-keylogging, anti-screen-stealing and Secure DNS protection at twice the speed of the previous version; as well as user assistance videos, which demonstrate how to use SafeCentral.
SafeCentral can be downloaded and installed at http://www.SafeCentral.com, where consumers can also take advantage of a free 30-day trial.
