Sabre Business Travel Solutions Announces Expense Management Portfolio.

IBM's NEDS Electronic Expense Report solution will be seamlessly integrated into SABRE BTS. The solution is used by IBM and leading corporations worldwide whose combined travel voucher processing volume exceeds 2.5 million reimbursements per year and supports more than 650,000 travelers.

A partnership with Portable Software integrates its Xpense Management Solution into SABRE BTS. Xpense Management Solution is a completely automated travel and entertainment management solution for the entire enterprise -- from the business traveler to the corporate accounting department.

The SABRE BTS system is currently in beta testing (programming) beta testing - Testing a pre-release (potentially unreliable) version of a piece of software by making it available to selected users. This term derives from early 1960s terminology for product cycle checkpoints, first used at IBM but later standard throughout the  with major corporations worldwide. The Travel Planner automated booking tool is scheduled for market availability in September 1996, with the remaining modules available in the fourth quarter of 1996.
