First Quarter 2007 Activities

During the first quarter, license sales amounted to 1,861 KEU as compared with 1,345 KEU in 2006 and represent 83.0% of total sales for the first quarter of 2007. This growth is the result of the successful release of the new version 6 launched in February 2007.

SYSTRAN received fewer orders from the US Federal Government because of the ongoing negotiations for contract renewal. As a result, sales for the Professional Services business unit decreased by 43.6% when compared with same period last year.

During the first quarter of 2007 SYSTRAN launched the new version 6 of its family of Desktop Products. Version 6 provides major technological advances in SYSTRAN's software such as improvement in translation quality, a dictionary lookup and many new features to help customers rapidly create multilingual documents.

Thanks to this new version, software license sales are increasing throughout all markets.

2007 Outlook

License sales are expected to grow in 2007 and the company continues to reinforce its sales and marketing teams.

SYSTRAN's efforts are now focused on the development and release of its version 6 Server Products and Online Services solutions.
