SYSPRO has announced that the latest release of its enterprise software, SYSPRO 6.0, has earned five stars, the highest possible rating, from The CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. SYSPRO 6.0 brings to fruition years of development. Based on Microsoft(R) .NET architecture and the XML standard, SYSPRO e.net solutions forms the foundation of SYSPRO 6.0. It is a component-based architecture designed to provide a highly cost-effective way for SYSPRO customers to integrate best-of-breed applications, maximize business-to-business trading and leverage wireless connectivity.

As well as ushering in a new generation of Web Services, SYSPRO 6.0 offers major new additions such as Business Analytics, Document Flow Management, integrated CRM and more powerful Finite Scheduling forming part of an integrated APS.

Business Analytics enables users to create multi-dimensional views of their financial and operational data. It includes a series of data mining cubes to produce dynamic, general and enterprise specific metrics, ratios and analyses. An administrator toolset allows for the manipulation of the cube(s) to suit customer requirements without any special On-line Analytical Processing (database) On-Line Analytical Processing - (OLAP) A category of database software which provides an interface such that users can transform or limit raw data according to user-defined or pre-defined functions, and quickly and interactively examine the results in various dimensions  (OLAP (OnLine Analytical Processing) Decision support software that allows the user to quickly analyze information that has been summarized into multidimensional views and hierarchies. The Document Flow Manager allows a company to automate business processes and build communication infrastructures that facilitate seamless collaborative commerce. The Document Flow Manager automates the flow of business transactions as they electronically arrive at a company in a XML document format.
