 SYNTREX TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE RESIGNATIONS
 EATONTOWN, N.J., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire./ -- Syntrex Technologies, Inc.


wholly owned subsidiary of Phoenix Technologies and a leading network systems integrator, announced today that Daniel Sinnott, president, and James Bruno, executive vice president, has resigned from the company effective Oct. 13. Mr. Sinnott and Mr. Bruno were founders of the original Syntrex, Inc., which was acquired by Phoenix Technologies, Inc. of Valley Forge, Pa. in May of this year. Both executives left the company to pursue other business opportunities.

Tirendi, president of Phoenix Technologies, Inc. Under his leadership, Mr. Sinnott successfully repositioned Syntrex from being a manufacturer of PC-based products to being a leading provider of Professional Network Services. Mr. Tirendi emphasized that Mr. Sinnott and Mr. Bruno were leaving at a time when Syntrex was experiencing growth in both revenue and profitability. Both had intended to leave the company for another venture once a stable, successful organization was in place.
 Mr. Tirendi stated their would be no change in Syntrex's strategic market direction as a result of Mr. Sinnott and Mr. Bruno leaving the company. In related news releases Syntrex Technologies announced the expansion of their technical services and marketing organizations, and Phoenix Technologies announced the appointment of Thomas Ewing to the position of senior vice president, responsible for developing strategy and infrastructure to leverage both companies' third party businesses.
