 PHOENIX, July 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Syntellect Inc. (NASDAQ: SYNL) today announced the successful completion of the acquisition of the business of Urix Corp., a Morsham, Penn.-based voice processing manufacturer. The business, to be integrated as Syntellect Network Systems, will serve as Syntellect's entry into a key strategic international market -- the telephone operating company and central office environment. Additionally, Syntellect will leverage Urix's innovative interactive voice response technology to enhance it's long-term product development efforts. The purchase price was approximately $1.8 million consisting primarily of cash.
