SYCAMORE CANYON TO KEEP STUDENTS NEAR HOMES.

Elementary school elementary school: see school.  students living in the Dos Vientos residential development will attend a new campus closer to home this year.

Officials will hold a dedication ceremony at 4:30 p.m., Aug. 29 at the site of Sycamore Canyon Sycamore Canyon is the second largest canyon in the Arizona redrock country, after Oak Creek Canyon. The 21 mile (33.6 km) long scenic canyon reaches a maximum width of about 7 miles (11.2 km) and is located in North Central Arizona below the Mogollon Rim northwest of Sedona.  Elementary School, 4601 Via Rio in Newbury Park. Some 550 students are already enrolled.

The new K-6 campus will have a capacity to house 610 students. The $9.5 million school was paid for entirely from developer fees. The Dos Vientos developer also gave the 10-acre plot of land and paid more than $100,000 for utilities such as hooking up to the city's sewer system, Corrigan said.

, former principal at Glenwood Elementary School Glenwood Elementary School is a public elementary school in Langley, British Columbia, a part of School District 35 Langley.

Students from Glenwood were involved in The Langley Schools Music Project in 1976-77.

Preliminary plans call for adding a middle school in several years at an estimated cost of between $5 million and $8 million, Corrigan said.

The last new campus built in the district was in 1998 with the opening of Lang Ranch Elementary School. The district, which had an enrollment last year of 10,167 elementary students, has 20 active elementary school sites.
