SUZY in the CITY: Exchange boss keeps mum.
CHIEF executive of the London Stock Exchange, Clara Furse, (pictured) yesterday refused to update shareholders on how talks with other exchanges are progressing.
The LSE - which is understood to be in talks with American technology market Nasdaq - remained tight-lipped after admitting last week that it was in talks with other parties as part of a "strategic review''.
Furse's silence however did not extend to the London Stock Exchange's profitability which last year saw earnings more than double to pounds 75million.
Shares in the exchange itself inched up 1p to 465p.
