SURG Announces Haemacure Corporation As Sponsor and Content Provider for OasisOR.com.

Surgical Safety Products, Inc., (OTCBB:SURG) and its information technology division, Oasis Information Exchange (OIX), today announced that it has added Haemacure Corporation (TSE:HAE) as a corporate sponsor and content provider for the December launch of www.OasisOR.com.

Haemacure (http://www.haemacure.com/), based in Montreal, Quebec, markets HEMASEEL* APR, the first fibrin sealant product approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). HEMASEEL* APR, is a tissue sealant that replicates the body's natural clotting process to reduce bleeding during surgery. The product has already been used successfully in over 20,000 surgical procedures in the United States, where the fibrin sealant market is estimated to reach U.S. $400 million annually within five years. Haemacure is involved in the development and commercialization of innovative biological adhesives, biomaterials and surgical devices for the wound care market.

SURG recently announced a strategic move that improved the delivery of their information exchange from touch screen hardware called "TouchPorts" in hospitals to a web-centric application called Oasis Information Exchange. OIX will launch its first web "storefront" this fall for operating room personnel under the name www.OasisOR.com. This agreement will allow OasisOR.com members direct access to vital Haemacure product information, including multimedia tutorials.
