Tuesday

It's hard to believe the NIT would be worth watching. However, Pepperdine is entertaining to watch, has a great nickname and is one of our local teams. NIT: Pepperdine at New Mexico, ESPN, 6 p.m.

Wednesday

With the Kings still on the outside of the playoff window looking in, every game is crucial. Especially those against better teams on your home ice. NHL: Edmonton Oilers at Kings, Fox Sports Net, 7:30 p.m.

Thursday

Well, you have to believe Steve Lavin's job is safe for another year after making it to back-to-back Sweet 16s. But can you imagine if the Bruins actually upset Duke? He'll be wanting to renegotiate his contract. NCAA Tournament: East and West Regional semifinals, Channel 2, 4:30-9:30 p.m. Also, Friday, Midwest and South Regional Semifinals, Channel 2, 4:30-9:30 p.m.

Friday

The Washington Wizards may be easy pickings this year, but that won't be the case next season with Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley coming aboard. NBA: Washington at Lakers, Fox Sports Net, 7:30 p.m.

Saturday

Oscar De La Hoya has lost his past two big fights. And isn't HBO losing by delaying this fight's broadcast to the West Coast? Boxing: Oscar De La Hoya vs. Arturo Gatti, HBO, tape delay, 10:45 p.m.

Sunday

It's hard to believe that we'll actually know the Final Four teams by the end of today. But didn't we already know them before the tournament started? NCAA Tournament: Midwest and South Regional finals, Channel 2, 1:30-6 p.m.
