SUPREME COURT GRANTS INTERPHARM A STAY MOTION

NESS-ZIONA, ISRAEL, Oct. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- InterPharm Laboratories Limited (NASDAQ: IPLLF) announced today that the Supreme Court of Israel granted the company's motion for a stay of the Tel-Aviv District Court's decision of June 6, 1993. The District Court ordered InterPharm to appoint two public directors to its board of directors by Oct. 24, 1993.
The effect of the stay is that InterPharm, as well as other Israeli companies who have offered their shares solely outside of Israel, need not appoint public directors to their board of directors until such time as the Israeli Supreme Court decides on the appeal of the district court's decision filed by InterPharm.
The Israeli Securities Authority supported InterPharm in its request for a stay.
