SUPERCOMM Expands International Program.


ARLINGTON, Va. -- Organizers of SUPERCOMM(R) today announced that SUPERCOMM 2005 will provide attendees with an expanded international offering to include industry education programming focused on the global market, international pavilions and a variety of exhibiting companies from outside the United States. SUPERCOMM, the world's premier annual exhibition and conference for communications service providers and private network managers, comes to Chicago's McCormick Place, June 6-9.

With the international communications marketplace expected to exceed $1.5 trillion in 2005 (according to TIA's 2005 Telecommunications Market Review and Forecast), connecting with SUPERCOMM's global audience is imperative for many exhibitors. Last year, the event hosted 2,179 delegates from 99 countries. SUPERCOMM 2005 expects to host international industry professionals from more than 100 countries this June.

Attendees visiting the exhibit floor can expect to see countries including China, Taiwan, Korea, Italy, as well as the province of Ontario and more, represented in pavilions where companies from their regions will showcase the latest technologies and solutions.

SUPERCOMM's international program spans both the educational sessions as well as the exhibit floor. Educational programming highlights include:

--Monday, June 6 - Plenary Session, "Global Communications: Realizing the Vision," featuring chairperson Hassan Ahmed, Chairman & CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. --Monday, June 6 - ChinaTel Forum @ SUPERCOMM, a paid one-day conference addressing telecom market opportunities in China. Executives from leading Chinese telecom operators, equipment manufacturers and international telecom companies are expected to address the event's attendees.

--Wednesday, June 8 - Keynote Session, "The State of Global Communication Networks and Services," featuring keynoters Lothar Pauly, President & CEO-Carrier Networks, Siemens; Pat Russo, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, Lucent Technologies; Bill Owens, President & CEO, Nortel Networks and Krish Prabhu, President & CEO, Tellabs/AFC.

SUPERCOMM 2005 will also provide attendees with more than 150 educational programs and three days of exhibits.
