"I think we've been going through a process here, the road to the Super Bowl," defensive end Ray Seals said. "The first time (1995) we came close, and now we're going there. We know what's gone on here before, and there would have been no hooray, hooray stuff until we got there."

Coach Bill Cowher, 38, himself never played for the Steelers, but grew up in Pittsburgh in the 1970s and saw how the Super Bowls electrified and energized the city.
