Verdugo Hills 27, Van Nuys 6: Wolves fans suffered through another heartbreak game as the visiting Dons collected 16 first-half downs and took advantage of excellent field position with 167 rushing yards in the first half to a lopsided win.

Verdugo Hills (4-0) ran 42 offensive plays in the first half as running backs James Luna, Matt Debbaudt, and Seb Enciso bulldozed through the outmanned and weary defenders. Tight end Peter Seller caught two touchdown passes from Stephen Miller to lead 20-0. Van Nuys (0-4) only got two first downs.
