Easter sunrise service Traditional View
Sunrise service is a worship service on Easter. It takes the place of the Roman Catholic tradition of the Easter Vigil, and is practiced by mainly Protestant churches.

--6 a.m., 79th annual Sunland-Tujunga Community Easter Sunrise Service, sponsored by Kiwanis and the Verdugo Hills Ministerial Association. Transportation will be provided to top of the hill from Hillhaven Avenue and Foothill Boulevard beginning at 4:30 a.m. Call (818) 352-4857.

--7:30 a.m., Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is home to a New Jersey Synod congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our Redeemer is located in the city of Dumont, New Jersey.
