SUN EXTENDS INTRAWARE SUBSCRIBENET AGREEMENT.

Intraware, Inc. (Nasdaq:ITRA), a provider of global electronic software delivery and management (ESDM) solutions, has announced that Sun Microsystems, Inc. (Nasdaq:SUNW), has signed an agreement to continue utilizing the Intraware SubscribeNet ESDM solution to deliver software updates to its global Sun ONE customers and to fulfill initial orders of Sun software for select customers. In addition to extending its commitment to use Intraware SubscribeNet services for its Sun ONE software line, under the new agreement, Sun will have the option to use SubscribeNet to deliver additional lines of Sun ONE software products such as Forte Tools, StarOffice and Solaris.

In addition, Sun ONE customers using the service receive immediate notification of all software updates and patches, and have the ability to download software and updates securely from the Internet. The service also provides a host of administrative and reporting features that help corporate IT professionals manage the distribution of software within their companies.
