 SULCUS COMPUTER CONCLUDES ACQUISITION OF SQUIRREL COMPANIES
 FOR UP TO $15 MILLION IN NON-DILUTIVE TRANSACTION
 GREENSBURG, Pa., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Sulcus Computer Corporation (NASDAQ: SULC), a leading developer of automated systems for the lodging, legal and real estate markets, today announced the closing for the closing of its acquisition of Squirrel Companies, Inc., the leading producer of touch-screen point-of-sales technology engineered and developed exclusively for the automation of hotel restaurants and fine dining establishments. Squirrel shareholders are receiving 256,100 Sulcus common shares, which equal Squirrel's net worth. Shareholders will receive additional payments up to a total value of $15 million, to be determined by earnings contributions, on a non-dilutive basis.
 Jeffrey S. Ratner, Sulcus chairman and chief executive officer, said, "Squirrel adds in excess of $5 million annual revenues and a market dimension of well over $500 million to Sulcus. Squirrel's technology is already interfaced with Sulcus' systems, which allows us to introduce the Squirrel System to our client base of 3,600 hotels, covering 575,000 rooms. Squirrel's technology automates all activities in the hotel's restaurant facilities, lounges and bars, poolside sales, room service, banquets, catering and golf and gift shop purchases. Its unique 3-1/2" deep touch-screen contains a credit card swipe, permitting all transactions to be immediately charged to the guest."
 Raymond D. Schoenbaum of "Shoneys" fame will actively participate on the new board and Neil Coyne, formerly of Hayes Micro Computer, will head the management team as president of this latest addition to the Sulcus Hospitality Group of companies. Schoenbaum said, "Sulcus' 40 offices in 21 countries combined with Squirrel's 50 offices in 11 countries provide a dominant worldwide presence to serve customers and prospects wherever they may be. Squirrel currently serves 1,800 sites for such customers as Hilton International Hotels and ChiChi's Restaurants."
