Family members, friends and classmates filled the Mission Hills mortuary Monday evening for an open casket viewing of Geraldo Lopez Jr., who cited the Colorado massacre in his suicide note A suicide note is a message left by someone who later attempts or commits suicide. Lopez had left a note beginning with his thoughts about the Colorado shooting, his family said. Some family members don't believe the Colorado shootings prompted his suicide, but his sister, Claudia Lopez, said the shootings may have been the final push. Similar to reports that classmates had teased the Colorado students, Ramirez said Lopez was teased and beaten. ``He did it because people made fun of him,'' Ramirez said.
