SUDAN - Aug. 26 - US Condemns Bombing.The US condemns what it says is the Sudanese government's continued bombing of civilian targets in the south of the country. State department spokesman Philip Reeker says the attacks had no military purpose and were endangering relief efforts. The statement follows accusations from the rebel Sudan People's Liberation Army Not to be confused with Sudan Liberation Movement in Darfur.
