SUBURBAN FEDERAL COMPLETES STOCK OFFERING

 CINCINNATI, Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Suburban Federal Savings Bank has completed its conversion from mutual to stock form, selling $15.8 million of common stock of Suburban Bancorporation, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: SBCN), a holding company established by Suburban Federal as part of the conversion. In total, 1,581,710 shares were issued at a price of $10 per share. Stock certificates will be sent to purchasers in about a week.
 The stock trades on the NASDAQ National Market under the symbol "SBCN."
 Suburban Federal serves the greater Cincinnati metropolitan area through its main office located in Montgomery, Ohio and seven branch offices located in Hamilton County. As of June 30, 1993, Suburban Federal had assets of $150.7 million.
