STUDENTS NEED MENTORS FOR GRADUATION PROJECTS.

LANCASTER - Antelope Valley Union High School District The Antelope Valley Union High School District (A.V.U.H.S.D.) is located in the Antelope Valley area of California, in northern Los Angeles County.

The district includes eight public high schools, one trade school, and two continuation high schools in the cities of Palmdale
 officials are seeking volunteers to work as mentors for 3,000 teen-agers who are working on Senior Project required to graduate from high school.

The students have completed the first phase, which was selecting a topic. The next phase is to identify a mentor who will provide support and guidance.

The high schools' Senior Project coordinators are seeking community mentors on behalf of their students.

The Senior Project requirement was adopted by the Board of Trustees board of trustees Politics The posse of thugs who oversee an institution's administration. See Board of directors.  in September 2000 to challenge students to demonstrate and display skills they have acquired in high school.

The project, paper and presentation are linked to an occupational area or profession selected by the student.
