STORM SWEEPS 'HAWKS FROM PLAYOFFS LAKE ELSINORE 11, JETHAWKS 6.

LANCASTER - During the regular season, the JetHawks were an opportunistic hitting team that got consistently solid starting pitching and made beating up on Lake Elsinore look ridiculously easy.

All of that changed in the playoffs, and as a result the JetHawks were swept by the Lake Elsinore Storm The Lake Elsinore Storm are a minor league baseball team in Lake Elsinore, California, USA. They are a "high-A" class team in the California League, and are a farm team of the San Diego Padres.  in the California League's best-of-five Southern Division championship series. Lancaster lost to the Storm 11-6 on Monday in front of 698 at Clear Channel Stadium.

The JetHawks were 16-4 against Lake Elsinore in the regular season, including winning 10 of 11 games against the Storm at home.
