In Europe, the Company has acquired five funeral homes, located in the community of La Rioja, adding a new market to our recent entry into Spain. These businesses operate under the name of P.F. Pastrana and S.F. Pastrana. Together, they serve 2,000 families annually.

In California, Stewart's acquisitions include the Davis Memorial Chapel in Watsonville, two DeYoung Memorial Chapels located in the Stockton area, McDermott Crockett Mortuary serving the Santa Barbara area and Richard Pierce Funeral Service in Napa. Davis Memorial Chapel in Watsonville dates back to 1896 and is located 85 miles southwest of San Francisco. DeYoung Memorial Chapels, a family-owned business was founded in 1888. McDermott Crockett Mortuary in Santa Barbara was founded in 1906 and serves over 800 families annually. Richard Pierce Funeral Service, established in 1860, is one of the oldest firms continuously in business in the city of Napa. Together these firms serve over 1,900 California families annually and bring the total of Stewart firms in California to 49 funeral homes and four cemeteries.

In Kansas and Missouri, the Company has acquired Mangold Funeral Home in La Cygne, Kansas La Cygne (pronounced luh SEEN) is a city situated along the Marais des Cygnes River in the northeast part of Linn County, located in East Central Kansas, in the Central United States. The population was estimated to be 1,146 in the year 2005. ; Runyan Funeral Home in Louisburg, Kansas; Mangold Funeral Home in Drexel, Missouri; and Runyan Funeral Home in Amsterdam, Missouri. The four funeral homes serve a market area south of the Kansas City area and bring the total of Stewart firms in that area to seven.

Santa Fe is the location of the new Stewart acquisition in New Mexico. Santa Fe Options and Memorial Gardens is the only funeral home/cemetery combination in Santa Fe and is located 50 miles north of Albuquerque.

In South Carolina, Dillard Memorial Funeral Home, Hillcrest Memorial Park, Seneca Mortuary and Oconee Memorial Park have joined Stewart. Operating as a combination operation is Dillard Memorial Funeral Home and Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens, South Carolina Pickens, formerly called Pickens Courthouse, is a town in Pickens County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 3,012 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Pickens CountyGR6.  Seneca Mortuary and Oconee Memorial Park are located in the town of Seneca, South Carolina Seneca is a city in Oconee County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 7,652 at the 2000 census. It is the principal city of the Seneca Micropolitan Statistical Area (population 66,215 according to year 2000 estimates by the U.S. . Together these four firms serve over 400 families in the Greenville, South Carolina

In Texas, Stewart has entered the tenth largest city in the United States with the acquisition of American Mortuary in San Antonio. The funeral home serves over 900 families each year. With this acquisition, the Company now owns and operates 33 funeral homes and 15 cemeteries in Texas.

Stewart's acquisitions in West Virginia include the Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary in Huntington and Milton Funeral Home in Milton. Founded in 1917, Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is a third-generation family funeral home. Milton Funeral Home was added to the family business in 1990. The addition of these two funeral homes brings the number of funeral homes and cemeteries in West Virginia to 17.
