STATEWIDE CABLE NETWORK BRINGS GOVERNOR FLORIO TO N.J. RESIDENTS

TRENTON, N.J., April 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Governor Jim Florio answered questions posed by New Jersey residents on a wide variety of topics ranging from car insurance surcharges to condom distribution in the schools on CTN's "Capitol Talk." The governor spoke to a live call-in audience on the program taped earlier this month. The program will be rebroadcast on CTN next week.
"Capitol Talk" featuring Governor Florio, host Gene Dillard and calls an comments from New Jerseyans will air on Tuesday, April 20 at 2 a.m. and again on Thursday, April 22 at 1 p.m. on CTN. Check local listings for the CTN channel in your area.
The hour program allowed residents to ask the governor questions about current political issues. CTN is carried statewide by 34 cable systems throughout New Jersey.
"We are pleased to add `Capitol Talk' to CTN's governmental programming line-up," the Network's Executive Director Jim DeBold said.
"The series is a welcome addition to other CTN political programs featuring New Jersey's elected officials. CTN's public affairs programs 'State of the State' and the Network's Gavel to Gavel coverage of public hearings has filled a void in providing political programming that focuses exclusively of the Garden State. CTN and the New Jersey Cable Industry is excited about expanding our political coverage of New Jersey," DeBold said.
CTN is a service of the New Jersey Cable Operators. For additional information about this series, or CTN's programming, please contact the Network's office.
