STATE FARM HOMEOWNERS CLAIMS FROM MONSTER STORM MAY TOTAL $177 MILLION

 BLOOMINGTON, Ill., March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Homeowners insurance claims from the storm that brutalized much of the southern and eastern portions of the United States last week could total $177 million for customers of State Farm Insurance Companies.
 Company officials today said they have already received nearly 30,000 homeowners claims in 12 states. They estimate that more than 95,000 homeowners claims will ultimately be reported. (Auto claim estimates are not yet available.)
 The company has sent in an additional 325 claims adjusters from around the United States to help local agents and claims people take care of its customers as quickly as possible. Customers are being asked to contact their local agent if they have claims.
 A breakdown of the estimated losses by location includes:
