STARTING FRIDAY, FEB. 14, THE TROLLEY SQUARE THEATRES WILL BECOME
CINEPLEX ODEON'S SECOND $1.00 THEATRE IN SALT LAKE CITY
SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting on Valentine's Day, Friday, Feb. 14, the Trolley Square Theatres, at 5th South and 7th East, will become Cineplex Odeon's second Salt Lake City theatre location to offer a $1.00 admission price policy for any film, at any time, weekends and holidays included. Currently, the Trolley Family Center Theatre, located at 1122 East Fort Union Blvd., offers a daily $1.00 admission price policy.
Starting on Friday, Feb. 7, readers of both the Salt Lake City Tribune and the Deseret News will receive a free "admit one" admission ticket which can be redeemed during the week of Feb. 14 at either the Trolley Square or Trolley Family Center Theatres. Free tickets will be printed, on selected days, in both newspapers through Thursday, Feb. 20.
The Trolley Square Theatres will be programmed to show recent commercial films and will implement, on Friday, Feb. 14, this new $1.00 admission policy with the following motion pictures: "Let Him Have It" is the Salt Lake City premiere of the highly acclaimed British courtroom drama which recently became a rallying point in the battle to end capital punishment in Great Britain. Peter Medak directs this, his first film since completing "The Krays" in 1990. Jodie Foster stars and also directs "Little Man Tate," James Belushi in the John Hughes comedy "Curly Sue," and Isabelle Huppert, one of France's most riveting actresses, stars in "Madame Bovary."
Cineplex Odeon is one of North America's largest theatre circuits, with approximately 1,703 screens in 405 locations. Currently, Cineplex Odeon operates 58 screens in 13 locations within the State of Utah.
