The guide covers what you need to know when choosing the structure and legal form in which to provide PFP products and services. It also covers how to maintain regulatory compliance at state and national levels; how to minimize legal liability; choosing which products and services to provide; how to develop strategic relationships with broker-dealers, insurance agencies, money managers and others; and how to get paid--fee-based, commission-based or both.

The guide is free for CPAs and is published by Synergy, a nonprofit organization Nonprofit Organization

An association that is given tax-free status. Donations to a non-profit organization are often tax deductible as well.
