STARS AND STUDENTS 'UP ALL NIGHT' AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS FLORIDA
ORLANDO, Fla., April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Thousands of high school students will be "Up All Night" on May 9 when Universal Studios Florida kicks off its first-ever, ultimate graduation party with awesome entertainment and sensational celebrity appearances. Hosted by Rhonda Shear and Gilbert Gottfried, co-stars of the USA Network's "UP ALL NIGHT," the after-hours bash will give high school students from all over the United States the opportunity to enjoy a private celebration at the No. 1 movie studio and theme park in the world.
From 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., students will hobnob with superstars Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green from the Fox Network's No. 1 hit series "Beverly Hills, 90210" and rap to the hip-hop sound of the award-winning female band Salt n' Pepa and sensational radio rappers DJ Laz and DJ Mike. In addition to the exciting entertainment, students will have exclusive use of Universal Studios Florida's world- class rides. They'll blast off for the thrill of a lifetime on "Back To The Future...The Ride," tremble as a banana-breathed King Kong terrorizes their tram in "Kongfrontation" and quake with fear during a realistic 8.3 magnitude trembler at "Earthquake, The Big One."
And the evening is sure to please parents as well. "It is an alcohol-free, drug-free, chaperoned event designed by advisors representing various school systems in conjunction with Universal Studios Florida's 'UP ALL NIGHT' staff," said Randy Garfield, executive vice president of Marketing. "We recognize the stars of tomorrow and want to host them on the largest studio backlot outside of Hollywood."
Complementary park passes will be issued to accompanying chaperons for the evening. Studio passes for this incredible party are available only through participating schools.
Universal Studios Florida is the world's most spectacular and technologically advanced movie-themed attraction. The 444-acre studio attraction provides guests the opportunity to "ride the movies," including such favorites as "Back to the Future...The Ride," "E.T. Adventure," "Earthquake" and "Kongfrontation."
