STANDARD REGISTER LAUNCHES CARBONLESS PRINTER.

Standard Register (NYSE:SR) has launched a unique new laser printer specifically designed for carbonless forms.

The Standard Register PL4830nC has the technology to effectively handle carbonless paper forms without the reliability issues typically associated with normal laser printers. The advanced new machine components in the new PL4830nC, used in conjunction with authorized carbonless paper, allow it to perform with extreme reliability, unlike common laser printers that often misfeed, jam and damage forms, resulting in print interruptions, equipment downtime and poor quality printing.

As part of the customer agreement, Standard Register is also offering a performance guarantee through its Total Care Service (TCS) program. This program includes preventative maintenance service, telephone support, toner and a performance guarantee against print run defects if customers use authorized paper configurations and toner. The PL4830nC is priced at approximately $1,929. (U.S.) Optional accessories are also available.
