STA launches new equipment exchange source.

The Subcontractors Trade Association (STA) has announced the new addition to their website, The STA Equipment Exchange, the construction industry's online materials and equipment source for union subcontractors.

The special online forum is designed to allow members of the Subcontractors Trade Association to communicate with one another with the goal of bartering or selling excess equipment or materials. Members of the STA can email announcements to the STA web host at sta@ bermangrp.com.

The Subcontractors Trade Association (STA) is New York's leading association of union subcontractors. Established in 1966, it is now comprised of 350 members representing every field within the construction industry.

The STA focuses its activities on problems affecting subcontractors in public and private construction, including progress payments, bid-shopping, improper back charges, legislation, prevailing wage enforcement, lien laws, insurance and bonding, among other issues.
