PALMDALE -- A St. Patrick's Day sobriety checkpoint yielded five DUI arrests and four citations for vehicle code infractions, the CHP said.

Highway Patrol officers screened 507 drivers at the checkpoint on Sierra Highway and Avenue Q from 8 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.
