SSH Communications Security SSH Communications Security is a Finnish company that is based in Helsinki and was founded by Tatu Ylönen in 1995. It is known as the original developer of the Secure Shell protocol and it currently has about 80 employees.  (HEX:SSH (Secure SHell) A security protocol for logging into a remote server. SSH provides an encrypted session for transferring files and executing server programs. Also serving as a secure client/server connection for applications such as database access and e-mail, SSH supports a 1V), a developer of Internet security solutions, has announced the next-generation of its leading encryption software, SSH Secure Shell 3.1, a product designed to protect end users, businesses and developers from the most common break-in method used by hackers -- stealing passwords from the Internet.

SSH Secure Shell 3.1 will be available later this month, with prices starting at $99 per workstation license; $475 per UNIX server license; and $565 per Windows server license.
