SSD COMPANY LIMITED Expands Line of Interactive Games to Include Two New Sports Titles; XaviX Technology Now Available in XaviXGolf and XaviXBassFishing.

LAS VEGAS -- SSD COMPANY LIMITED, a privately held Japanese corporation that has developed over 100 popular consumer products in Japan, today announced the expansion of its XaviX(R) line of interactive sports games with two new titles, XaviXGolf(TM) and XaviXBassFishing(TM). The new titles were unveiled at a press conference held this morning at 2005 International CES (LVCC South Hall, Upper Level -- booth 31774) in Las Vegas. Like the company's first three games introduced to U.S. audiences last fall, the new XaviXGolf and XaviXBassFishing titles feature SSD's own XaviXTechnology(TM), which combines human interface technology, including optical sensors and infra-red, to allow any television to respond directly to a user's actions, commented Katsuya Nakagawa, president and CEO of SSD COMPANY LIMITED.

Specifics of the new titles include:

--XaviXGolf: Players will swing the XaviXGolf Putter or XaviXGolf Driver to play a nine or 18 hole course, while sensors embedded in the wireless XaviXGolf Tee detect the speed of the club to determine whether the swing is inside out or outside in. The XaviXGolf Tee's indicators help players line up for the perfect shot, while realistic course graphics feature grand awesome fairway views and putting greens. The game offers individual and multiple-player modes as well as a choice of exhibition, tournament or 10-shot games which can be customized according to the names and characters of each player. Players may check the results of their score cards or drop into the clubhouse to pick up some tips from the pros.

--XaviXBassFishing: Players compete to land the biggest fish with a choice of live bait or lures, fishing locations like small ponds or mountain lakes, and various class levels or tournament modes. The Wireless Fishing Rod calculates the weight and fight in the fish, and players must take care not to reel in their catch too fast and snap the line. Realistic wireless controllers all players to feel the tension build as they reel in each fish.

"Our latest titles are completely compatible with the XaviXPORT(TM) system technology, which we introduced last year," explains Rachel Woodland, SSD director of marketing and communications. "Like the original XaviX games, each new title features the powerful XaviX microprocessor which allows the television to detect and respond to the speed and direction of a user's motions and translates their actions on screen."

XaviXPORT (MSRP $79.99), XaviXGolf (MSRP $79.99) and XaviXBassFishing (MSRP $49.99) will be sold separately at major retailers across the United States in late spring 2005. Each game title will feature a complete hardware package including a XaviXSystemCartridge, corresponding wireless controllers with wrist strap, and AA batteries (if necessary). The only additional system requirement is a TV or VCR with available AV input. XaviXGolf and XaviXBassFishing are part of the XaviXGames family.
