) is the Presenting Sponsor for Revolutionary Windsor 2001, a weekend of Revolutionary War encampments and encounters in Windsor, Connecticut's first town. Scheduled for September 15 and 16, 2001, and spanning three historic sites in the town, this weekend of family fun is highlighted by "real-life" battle re-enactments between the "invading in·vade

SS&C Serves as Consultant to a Student Historical Website As Presenting Sponsor of Revolutionary Windsor 2001, SS&C also has been serving as corporate consultant to a team of students from Windsor High School's Computer Club, designing a historical Website focusing on the role the Town of Windsor played in the Revolutionary War. The site will be used as an educational tool for eighth grade students at Windsor's Sage Park Middle School, and will be launched in winter 2002. Members of Windsor High School's Computer Club, and their advisor, Mick Duffek, a teacher at Windsor High, will be at the Revolutionary Windsor 2001 event, gathering materials and photographing the event for eventual use on the Website.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, and running through 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, Revolutionary Windsor 2001, visitors will be treated to presentations by the Governor's Foot Guard, and battles between the "British" and the "Patriots" taking place at the Windsor green and the town's historic landmarks. The event will also feature musical and dance performances, tours, demonstrations of camp life by crafters and peddlers, and a colonial bean supper on Saturday night at the First Church. Colonial as well as traditional foods will be available and Windsor retailers will be on hand selling Revolutionary-period wares.
