SRS Labs Expands Licensing Operations in China and U.S.

SRS Labs Welcomes New Sales Staff, YP Wang in Shanghai and Tim Westman in Detroit

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- SRS Labs (NASDAQ:SRSL), a leading supplier of surround sound, audio, and voice technologies, today announced the hiring of a new sales representative for the China region and the addition of a sales executive in the U.S. as part of an ongoing corporate commitment to focus on the company's core business of audio intellectual property licensing and to provide local support for its customers around the globe.

As part of its expansion plans, SRS Labs announced the appointment of sales representative YP Wang in the Greater China region. Wang is based in Shanghai and is responsible for licensing activities in the Shanghai region, as well as Beijing and other areas of Northern China. Wang has worked in the semiconductor industry for many years and has previous experience working at Philips and National Semiconductor. Wang will report directly to Ricky Wong, SRS Labs' regional manager for the Greater China and Asia region.

Tim Westman is joining SRS Labs as a sales executive for the eastern United States, based in the Detroit Metro area. Westman brings with him 15 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently working at Intel Corporation. Westman will report directly to SRS Vice President of Sales and Licensing, Michael Franzi.
