CANYON COUNTRY - Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  Christian School A Christian School is a school run on Christian principles or by a Christian organization.

The nature of Christian schools varies enormously from country to country according to the religious, educational, and political culture.
in Canyon Country will present the spy parody ``Get Smart'' Thursday through Saturday in the school's auditorium theater.

Directed by Verlyn White, this comedy-satire is the ultimate spoof of secret agent thrillers.

Adapted by Christopher Sergel, ``Get Smart'' is based on the popular 1960s and '70s television comedy series written by Mel Brooks and Buck Henry, in which an evil organization, KAOS KAOS - Kent Applicative Operating System , attempts to take over the world. The forces of good, symbolized by the organization CONTROL, constantly battle KAOS to preserve order.

Maxwell Smart, played by Carlo Moss, is CONTROL's Secret Agent 86. Smart is the antithesis - and parody - of everything traditionally associated with secret agents.

The Chief, Smart's superior and the head of CONTROL's Washington Bureau, is played by Erik Hayden. His faithful assistant, Hodgkins (Tim Fox Timothy Richard Fox (born November 1, 1953 in Canton, Ohio) is a former American Football safety who played for the New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams from 1976 to 1986. ) presents the latest in spy equipment while Miss Finch (Amanda Sweet) appears to be the most helpful of all secretaries.
